Chesterfield Middle School recently held their annual semi formal dance.  The dance is open to sixth, seventh and eighth graders and their guests.  Many hours of planning by the parents went into making the Mardi Gras themed event so special.

Grads Entering the Ceremony

The seventh grade marshals led the graduates to their seats to the sound of Pomp and Circumstance before a large audience of parents, friends, school board members and administrative officials.  Principal D'Eon and Admin. Assistant Darlene Klaski pulled off another flawless and memorable ceremony.

Field day is about more than games and competition.  It's about friendships, teamwork and tons of fun.  These boys were so anxious for field day that they didn't even take the time to shave that morning.

8thgradespanish lunch

An end of year lunch for our eighth grade Spanish students was held at a local Mexican restaurant in Keene.  Spanish is one of the specials classes at Chesterfield School.

yearbook dedication

The 2025 Chesterfield yearbook is dedicated to one of the kindest people walking around in this world.  She’s one of those people who very unassumingly, just goes about her day, quietly improving the lives of those she encounters.

The work she does for students and their families can’t be measured.  In fact, what she does is almost never noticed- unless it’s you she’s helping.  She is equipped with the super powers of building self-esteem, increasing confidence, mending relationships, teaching coping skills, and empowering children to be their best selves.

Her quiet, empathetic approach has helped heal many emotional wounds.

She is a teacher.  She is an emotional caregiver.  She is a counselor. She is a treasure.  This book is dedicated to Becky Kohler.  Thank you for sharing your love with everyone at Chesterfield School.

graduation rehearsal clap

The school continued its tradition of "clapping out" the graduates after their final graduation rehearsal.  The student body lines the corridors applauding and high fiving the eighth graders.
